Hey there!
I'm back to share a set of cards with you! I had started out just making one, but this stamp set is so cute, I had to make them all! I used the Birthday Farm Animals Set from Simon Says Stamp. I had mentioned ordering it when I did the Masking Multiple Stamps and Simon Says Stamp August 2015 Card Kit post. Well. It is even better in person. For real.
So, if your interested in any of the products I've used I will have links for you at the end of the post!
I have a few pictures to share, but actually I don't have a lot to say about them. I really wanted to keep these fairly simple. These guys are so fantastic that I wanted to keep the focus on them.
I actually started with the die cutting because I wanted to know exactly where to stamp my images. I used two of the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies on a 4" x 5 1/4" Neenah White Cardstock Panel.
I knew I was going to color them with Copic's so I used my go to Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. Even before I started coloring them I just couldn't look at them without smiling! They don't have specific recipients yet, but I CAN NOT wait to give them out.
After I colored them in? I just smile like a complete goof ball. It's ridiculous. I was going for colors that would really pop. Like I said, I wanted them to be front and center.
I kept the Die Cut Frames white, but I tied some color on the rest of the card, by attaching all of my pieces on a colored card base. Simon Says Stamp has the best colored cardstocks so I used, Audrey Blue, Island Blue, Black and Slate.
The only sort of "embellishments" I used on any of the cards were Clear Wink of Stella on the Chicken and the Goat, and I used a Sakura Stardust Clear Glitter Pen on the party hat tassels on the Cow and Pig. The Glitter Pen came in the Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit.
Well, that's it peeps! Super quick and simple. I hope you enjoy them!
Until next time!
