It's that time again! It's time for the Catherine Pooler Stamp of Approval Release! This Collection is called Winterhaven and I cannot begin to tell you how much fun it is!
For those of you that haven't heard of Stamp of Approval...It's a collection of exclusive products that are specifically design for each collection. They are all brand new products, never before seen on the market and they won't be available for individual sale for many months. Be sure to click HERE to get yourself on the Waitlist because this crafty goodness sells out fast!
If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
If you're interested in watching the videos on how I made both of these projects you can go HERE for the Winter Tag and you can go HERE to see how I made the Joy Wreath Card. You can also click on each of the thumbnail links below.
Now if you you follow me here or on YouTube, it's not a surprise that I love to color. Copic's are for sure my favorite medium in card making. HOWEVER, I get so excited when I get the chance to work with Catherine Pooler for Stamp of Approval. I love the simplicity and versatility of the Collections. I especially love that I get to think outside of the box and use products that I normally don't use.
I was giddy with crafty excitement when I saw the products in the SOA box for my first project today!
Be sure to check out my video folks, because putting this tag together with the Winterhaven and the Good Stuff Die Sets was ridiculous easy.
The Winterhaven Die Set are those darling little houses and trees on the tag. They are the perfect size for all sorts of cards. You could also color them in and create a whole village on the front of an A2 card!
Today, I kept it simple and left them the plain white of the Neenah Solar White Cardstock. I really felt the ink blending with my Catherine Pooler Inks on the Good Stuff Tag panel would help them stand out and shine. I adore all of the sentiments found in the Here We Come A-Caroling Stamp Set and I thought it was perfect to finish this off.
I have a list of thumbnail links below for all of the products I used on my tag. Be sure to check those out!
Ok. So lets talk about the next project I'm sharing with you today.
For this card, I focused on using the Joy Wreath Die Set and the super fab Ornamental Background Stamp.
The Wreath and Joy can totally stand on their own so I kept those simple. I quickly did some Copic coloring on both and left as much white as possible.
I did want some dimension on this card, so I cut 3 of each die and stacked them up with a combination of Stick It Adhesive (watch the vide to see where I talk about that shenanigan) and Tombow Mono Multi Glue.
To show off the Ornamental Background Stamp, I used a really easy technique. You can see more details in the video, but I simply inked a portion of my Neenah Cardstock Panel with Catherine Pooler Aquatini Ink, waited for it to dry then stamped the entire panel with a healthy dose of Versamark Ink on the background stamp.
I didn't think the card needed too much in terms of finishing it off. I used a Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen to add some sparkle and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Morning Dew to add some gloss and MORE dimension to the JOY and the Berries.
That's it!
