Clearly Besotted and Copic Coloring

Hey folks!

Wow! What a crazy, busy week! It's seem this summer has flown by. My kids go back to school next week and I am so not ready. I repeat. So. Not. Ready.

So, I'm back today to share another card with you. I'm particularly excited, because I've had my peepers set on Clearly Besotted for awhile now, but hadn't had the opportunity to use any of their stamps. The image I used for this card is from Happy Everything. Such a great stamp set and I really can't wait to use it again!

As usual, if you're interested in any of the products I've used, I will have links at the end of the post!

If there is ever a stamp that just begs to be colored, it's this one. The flowers in this set are so big and open! Pick a coloring medium and this set will be perfect for it.

Since I knew I wanted to color with Copic Markers, I stamped the Rose on a piece of Neenah White Cardstock in Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. There are a couple of Butterfly stamps in the set, as well as some sentiments, but I wanted to keep the focus on just the Rose.

After I colored the Rose, I used three Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies. One for the Rose, one on a piece of Simon Says Stamp Schoolhouse Red Cardstock and one on another piece of Neenah White Cardstock. I also used a Sizzix - Tim Holtz Texture Fades Embossing Folder from the Bricked & Woodgrain Set on that panel.

A lil bit of Wink of Stella and a few Hero Arts Gemstones and that was that. Easy peasy.

That's it for now peeps! I can't wait to use this set again. I hope you like it!

Until next time!
