Hey folks!
I'm back today to share a couple of really fun cards with you all! I feel awful that I haven't been able to share with you guys like I want to, but I do have a couple of groovy (I think anyway) things to share soon!
If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
So...it seems that no matter how organized I think I am, I still manage to "lose" things. Or I just buy too much stuff and can't keep track of it all. Tomato, tomahto. I came across the Peerless Watercolors I bought like a year ago the other day and thought it was a fine to to use those bad boys.
For both of my cards today, I used the Lawn Fawn Blue Skies Stamp Set. I adore those hot air balloons peeps. Even better are rainbow hot air balloons! Also, I made masks for both of the cards with Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper.
Then, for my first card, I stamped the images on Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed them with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder.
I gotta be honest folks, I really wish I had used the Peerless Watercolors sooner. I love, love, love them. For real. They are like butter. Lovely, colored butter. I thoroughly look forward to using them again. I kept it pretty straight forward this time, and kept each color simple.
I stamped the images for my second card on Neenah White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and decided to switch to Copic's (you can see my color choices below). Not really a straight up comparison, but Copic's are my fave to color with, so why not?
On both cards, I used the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink and trimmed down a couple of strips to add to the panels. I also, added strips of Neenah White Cardstock that I had covered with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with Simon Says Stamp Silver Embossing Powder.
I loaded up with Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen on the highlighted areas of the balloons and clouds on both cards and called it a day folks.
Last, but certainly not least. If you haven't seen it yet, Simon Says Stamp just did a release. It's called Among The Stars and it is fab! Be sure to check it out peeps!
That's it! Easy peasy.
Thanks so much for stopping by to see me today and as always, I hope you enjoyed my cards!
Until next time!
