Hey folks!
I'm back today to share an easy peasy lemon squeezey card with you. In fact this card was so easy to make, I'm wondering why I didn't make more. I'm getting super excited for Halloween and the stamp set I used on this card seriously makes me that much more excited!
If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
If you read my blog at all you will know that I LOVE Lawn Fawn. They make the cutest stamps ever! Seriously peeps, look at that ghost's face and tell me it doesn't give you warm fuzzies...
I started stamping some if the images from the Lawn Fawn Booyah Stamp Set on a scrap of Neenah White Cardstock and colored them in with Copic Markers (see linked images below). After I colored them in, I fussy cute them out. I used Gold Wink of Stella on the Hat Buckle.
Next, I used Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Ripe Persimmon, Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey and loosely watercolored on a Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock Panel. I made sure to dry the colors in between layers with my Hero Arts Heat Gun so they didn't blend together too much. To "pull up" some of the color in spot I used a mixture of Ranger Perfect Pearls in Perfect Pearl and water in a Ranger Mister Bottle and let it drop on the Panel in spots. After I let it set for a little bit, I used a dried out Baby Wipe to pick up the extra Pearl Water Mixture.
I stamped the Sentiment on a strip of Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder.
I mounted the Watercolor Panel on a Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock Card Base with Fun Foam and the the Ghost and Sentiment were added to that with Scotch Foam Tape.
For embellies, I kept it simple. I used a few Purple Sequins from the Spellbound Sparkly Shaker Selection by Lucy's Cards.
For my Digital Die Cutting peeps...SVG Cuts has a new kit available today! It' is the Barn Party SVG Kit and it is FABULOUS!! It's free for a limited time with a minimum purchase of $9.98.
That's it! I'm thinkin I'm going to have to do some more of these...Next time I hope to share some Boo Boxes with you. Woot! In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed my card today!
Until next time!
So cute! Love the distress ink!
