Newton's Nook and Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Ink Watercoloring

Hey folks!

A few days ago, I shared a card I made (see it here) using the Newton's Nook Newton's Perfect Pumpkin Stamp Set. I also mentioned that I had another in the works that I was going to color with Copic's, but I decided to watercolor instead.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I will have links (some affiliate links) throughout the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

Overall this was a really easy card to make. I used the same masks I had already cut for my last card, but for this one this I stamped my images in Simon Says Stamp Black Ink on Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock. Using a stamp from the Newton's Nook Wagon of Wishes, I stamped the Bird on to one of the Pumpkins.

Before I colored the Card Panel in with Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Inks (see links below for colors), I hand drew the Sign and the Ground with a Sakura Pigma Micron Pen. The sentiment I stamped on the Sign is also from Newton's Nook Wagon of Wishes.

To make stars in the sky, I first went over the images I didn't want covered with an old watercolor brush and some Elmer's Rubber Cement and let it dry. Then, I mixed some Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Paint in Picket Fence, a small amount of water and some Ranger Perfect Pearls in Perfect Pearl and flicked it on to my card panel with my brush. To speed up drying, I went over it my Hero Arts Heat Gun.

I kept the rest of it simple by only adding some Clear Wink of Stella and mounting it on a Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock Card base.

That's it peeps! I hope you enjoyed my card today!

Until next time!
