Quick Masking and Copic Coloring

Hey folks!

It has been soo long! I've had no time to make cards because I've been super duper busy. I cannot wait until I can share what I've been doing with you all. I did manage to get in some time yesterday to put together this quick one layer card and I just have to take a few minute to share it with you!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

In the last couple of months I've bought TONS of stamp sets. I haven't a clue why, I know I don't have the time, but I NEEED them. Right?

So first up in my long list of pretties is the Fancy Flowers Stamp Set by My Favorite Things.
I kept this super simple folks. I wanted to do something that I could stamp and color pretty fast. Think park my can on the couch and color kind of quick.

So, I started by stamping my masks on Inkadinkado Stamp Masking Paper and cut those out. For the area of the sentiment, I just eyeballed how big I wanted that area to be and trimmed down another piece of masking paper. This piece goes first. Keep in mind peeps, when masking, anything you want to go in front gets stamped/masked first.

Then I stamped all of my images on Neenah White Cardstock with My Favorite Things Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.

I did use the MISTI Stamping Tool for all of my stamping. You don't need to. I chose to, because for starters, I love my MISTI and also because I like to double stamp my images. With the MISTI it's a breeze.

I knew I wanted to Copic colors these when I saw this stamp set. It would be fab in watercolor like Tombow Dual Brush Pens or even colored pencils like Prismacolor.

You can see my color choices below if you're interested in what I used on this card. I gotta be honest folks. I didn't come up with this combo all by my lonesome. I've seen it somewhere. I think on a card that MFT stamps were used as well. I cannot for the life of me find it to give the proper credit, but I know I've seen it!

Any who, to finish this bad boy off, I attached it to a Neenah White Cardstock Cardbase with my ATG Gun and added a lil bit of Clear Wink of Stella to a few areas on the panel. I decided not to add any extra embellies, but as I look at it now, I kinda wish I did. What d'ya do?

That's it! Easy peasy.

Thanks so much for stopping in to see me today and as always I really hope you enjoyed my card!

Until next time!
