Newton's Nook Sick Day with Copic Coloring

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share a really quick card I put together.

A friend of mine fell out and managed to break not one, but both of her legs. Yikes. Soo I think she needs a card with a cute lil kitty to put a smile on her face.

If your interested in any of the products I've used, I will have thumbnail links at the end of the post.

This lil cutie is from Newton's Nook Sick Day. I have one word for this set. Dar-ling. Nuff said. I used Momento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp her, then I colored her in with Copic Markers on Neenah White Cardstock. You can't see in the pic, but I added a little Clear Wink of Stella on her ears and collar. I wanted to try something different, so I chose Copic's in the Blue-Green family to color in around her.

I went with Cotton Candy and Audrey Blue Cardstock from Simon Says Stamp and die cut them both with the Lawn Fawn Speech Bubble Border Die. I cut off the part that sticks down so it was a smooth curve. Again, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Cotton Candy Cardstock and to the white on the Cardbase.

I kept the embellishments simple and only added three Craft Medley Sequins to the card.

That's it peeps! Pretty quick and easy.

Until next time!
