Clean & Simple Fall Tags - Ombre Inks + Hero Arts Color Layering Autumn Trees

Hey folks!

In today's video, I'm sharing a some clean & simple fall tags. These clean & simple tags can be completed in no time flat. A good tag die, an easy color layering stamp set and a tiny bit of coloring and you could easily have one done in 10 minutes or less!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

Also. If you're interested in watching the video on how I made my card you can go HERE. You can also click on the thumbnail link below.

There was an amazing tag die in the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero June 2016 Kit. It's not available to purchase separately and the kit has sold out, but you could use just about any tag die. The Hero Arts Nesting TAG DIES, the Simon Says Stamp STITCHED DRESS UP TAGS Die, the My Favorite Things CROSS STITCH TAG Die-Namics and the Altenew HANDMADE TAGS DIE would be great alternatives.

The Hero Arts COLOR LAYERING AUTUMN TREES Stamp Set is one of the easiest stamp layering sets. It's pretty forgiving. While I did try to make sure that all of the layers were lined up the way they should be, I didn't stress too much over it and it still turned out great!

I also though it would be groovy to use a colored cardstock instead of just white. I used My Favorite Things PRIMITIVE CREAM Cardstock for one of my tags and Neenah SOLAR WHITE 80# for the other two. You could use a darker cardstock if you'd like and I talk more about that in the VIDEO.

Regardless of which inks you use, you should be able to stamp each layer quickly. The MISTI STAMPING TOOL, helps a bunch too.

If you're interested in the ink colors I used today:

Hero Arts Ombre Inks:

Hero Arts Shadow Dye Inks:

Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks:

I didn't want to add too much to the tags, because these are clean and simple, but I didn't want the trees to looking like they were floating, so to ground them, I used Copic's. I have those linked in the thumbnail links below.

I also felt they didn't need too much to finish them off. I chose to use the Sakura STARDUST GELLY ROLL Pen, but you could use any time of glitter pen and add it just to lightest color that you've stamped. I talk more about this in the VIDEO as well.

That's it! Easy peasy. I show where I made three, but all together I did 12 tags. They all took about 45 from start to finish, which isn't too shabby if you need to mass produce them in a jiffy and even better if you only need one or two.

I hope you enjoyed my tags today! DISCOVER more projects on my Youtube Channel, do be sure to subscribe if you haven't and also tap that notification bell so you don't miss any future videos. As always Thanks So Much for stopping by!

Until next time!
