Simon Says Stamp - Cloudy Skies

Hey folks!

I haven't had a lot of time to get my craft on lately, but I finally found some time today so I'm here to share a really quick card with you all!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

Okey dokey, I started by masking off a Neenah White Cardstock Panel with Post-It Labeling Tape, only leaving a square open in the center. I used the Simon Says Stamp Large Grid Paper Pad (BTW, these bad boys are totally worth the investment!) to make sure that my masking was straight, but it would also be super easy to use a ruler and lightly pencil in a square before masking.

After I had my area masked off, I used a Ranger Ink Mini Blending Tool and added Simon Says Stamp Ink in Lemon Chiffon, Apricot, Thistle and Surf Blue. I was thinking sunset, because I really wasn't sure where I was going with this.

Next, I used two of the Clouds Stamps from the Simon Says Stamp Cloudy Skies Stamp Set and stamped them with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with Simon Says Stamp Silver Embossing Powder. Then I used the coordinating Cloud Dies to die cut them out. Both the Stamp and Die Set are from the Reason To Smile Release. This Release has some of the best Spring items EVER folks!

Before I attached the Clouds to my Card Front with Scotch Foam Tape, I placed them where I thought I would want them. This way I could get an idea where to stamp the Birds from the Cloudy Skies Stamp Set. I stamped those lil guys and the Sentiment with Simon Says Stamp Slate Ink.

Before I attached Panel to a Simon Says Stamp Slate Cardstock Card Base, I stamped it with the Simon Says Stamp Diagonal Stripe Background Stamp with the matching Ink.

I finished off my Card with some Clear Wink of Stella on the Birds, but otherwise didn't add any extra embellies.

That's it!

Today is the last day for The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge! Booo...However, I'm excited that I was featured AGAIN on Kathy's Blog with THESE 2 Cards! Thank you Kathy! You are a Rockstar. ALSO, I highly suggest that you go check out all of the other amazing folks that have put themselves out there on her blog! Every one of them is an INSPIRATION peeps!

In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed my Card today!

Until next time!
