Copic Coloring, Ink Blending and Partial Die Cutting

Hey folks!

I'm back today to share my last Halloween card of the year with you all!

In our house we usually start preparing for Halloween months in advance. It's a pretty big deal. This year we slacked off quite a bit, but it's cool. This year instead of decorating, I've had the pleasure to work with a lot of insanely ADORKABLE stamps and dies and get my craft on. It is however time to concentrate on making sure my Youngest Midget has her Halloween costume ready and to start working on other projects.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

The cutie patutie I used for this card is the Hey Pumpkin Stamp Set from Simon Says Stamp. It makes me soo happy. It was a no brainer I was going to use Copic's. Since it was so easy to color I thought I would throw in a couple other techniques.

I started by stamping this guy on Neenah White Cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink, then colored him in with my choice of Copic's. You can see my link below for color choices.

To do the Partial Die Cutting, I used a Stitched Rectangle Die by Simon Says Stamp. You can click here or I have linked below to a really fabulous video by Jennifer McGuire, where she shows you how to do Partial Die Cutting. I also used another Stitched Rectangle Die from the same set to die cut the entire Panel.

For the Night Sky, I trimmed down a piece of Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock and using a Ranger Ink Blending Tool I added Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Salty Ocean, Chipped Sapphire, Dusty Concord and Black Soot. Then I used the Falling Snow Stencil by Simon Says Stamp and Hero Arts Unicorn Ink to add some "Stars".

To finish this guy off, I added a lil bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the Pumpkin, his nose and his ears. I also stamped the Sentiment from the Set on to the Panel with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink.

That's it peeps! Next up will either be Avery Elle Cupcakes that I'm strongly considering doing some foiling on or some Altenew Garden Grow. Hmmm...decisions, decisions. Also Simon Says Stamp November Card Kit, is off the hook! Be sure to check it out!

In the meantime, I hope you've enjoyed my cards today! Don't forget you can follow me on Instagram  and on Facebook! I would love to see you there.

Until next time!
