BLOG HOP PRIZE!!
Three random winners will be chosen from the comments along the hop to receive $97 Gift Certificate for the Catherine Pooler SHOP. Winners will be announced April 26, 2018 on the Catherine Pooler BLOG. So be sure to leave comments folks!
Just in case you haven't heard of the Stamp of Approval Collection...This is an exclusive collection, the products were designed FOR the box, they are brand new, and they won't be available again for many months. These collections traditionally sell out cuh-razy fast folks. The only way to guarantee you get one is by getting on the waitlist which you can do HERE.
I don't have a video to share today folks, but both of the cards I'm sharing with you are super easy!
For my first set of cards, I started by ink blending a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Catherine Pooler CARDSTOCK. I used FLIRTY FUCHSIA, PARTY DRESS, ORANGE TWIST, TIARA, GRASS SKIRT, and AQUATINI.
I blended at an angle starting from the top left and working to the bottom right. If you're interested in seeing how I did this, I have a video where I show I how did something like this. You can see that HERE.
Once I was sone with the ink blending, I mixed Ranger Transparent GLOSS Embossing Paste with Nuvo ICE WHIE Pure Sheen Glitter with Ranger Transparent GLOSS Embossing Paste then applied it over the SCATTERED CIRCLES Stencil.
I set the panel aside to dry. You could heat set it, but I would let it set for at east 15 min before you add any heat to the paste. If you like the way embossing paste looks when it bubbles up then you could totally heat it right away.
After the panel was dry, I die cut it using the CELEBRATE and SWEET Die. For the first pass with the SWEET Die, I made sure to line it up so it fades from the FLIRTY FUCHSIA to the TIARA. Same with the second time with the same die. On the third pass, I turned the die sideways so it cut from AQUATINI to TIARA.
I stamped sentiments from the Whoohoo Stamp Set with Catherine Pooler MIDNIGHT BLACK Ink. Then I trimmed down all three panels to 4"x 5.25" and mounted them on to Catherine Pooler White NOTECARDS with foam tape to give them some dimension.
For my next card, I used more Catherine Pooler WHITE Cardstock and die cut the HOORAY Die. Then I covered the die cut with VERSAMARK Ink and heat embossed it with WOW MERMAID TAILS Embossing Powder.
I adhered the die cut to a 4" x 5.25" panel of Catherine Pooler WHITE Cardstock.
Since I had already adhered the die cut, I had to careful stamps but images, but it was doable. I used the Catherine Pooler CIRCLE Stamp Block and stamped a sentiment from the Woohoo Stamp Set under the die cut with MIDNIGHT BLACK Ink.
I also stamped all three balloons from the Woohoo Stamp Set with PARTY DRESS, TIARA and AQUATINI. Wanted to add balloon strings so I took a black pen and a ruler and added lines just so they met up with he die cut.
I finished off the card with ICE CUBE Jewels from Little Things from Lucy's Cards.
That's it!
