I'm back today to share another card with you all! I thought I'd mix it up a bit and doing something different from the usual bright and happy card.
If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
I seriously swoon over Wplus9 flowers peeps. So for my card today, I used the Wplus9 Beautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus Stamp Set. Using my MISTI Stamping Tool, I stamped my image in Neenah White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.
I chose a little bit bolder colors for the Copic coloring, especially the Ranunculus (my colors are in the thumbnail links below). I hadn't decided yet what to do with the background, but I was pretty sure I was going to go fairly dark, so I really wanted the images to pop.
Okey dokey, so when I started adding shadows around the images, I had a small mishap with my newly refilled N0 Copic. I overfilled it and it dripped on my card panel. Could have been a bad scene folks, but I just went with it and colored the entire panel.
Next, I made a mask using Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper and covered the images. Then, I took the Linen Background Stamp by My Favorite Things and ink a portion of it with Simon Says Stamp Smoke Ink. Using a baby wipe, I dabbed off the harsh edges the ink pad left, then stamped my panel.
To finish off my card, I added a few Sparkling Clear Sequins by Pretty Pink Posh. I also added loads of Clear Wink of Stella to the highlights on the flowers and stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Then I added at the panel to a Simon Says Stamp Black Cardstock base.
That's it! As always thanks so much for stopping in to see me today, I really hope you enjoyed my card today!
Until next time!
Saw this on Pinterest and just had to visit and tell you how much I love this card! I've had mishaps similar that have ended up quite well, and this is gorgeous! Love that you used the background stamp. Hugs!
