Watercolor Mama Elephant

Hey there!

In case ya'll haven't gotten enough of me using Derwent Inktense Watercolor Pencils, I've gotta another for you! I tell ya, I have Copic's, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Markers and these. I honestly love, love, love them all. I feel I'm reaching for these a lot lately because they are soo easy to use. The colors? The colors are Ah-Mazing!

I would also like to point out that the Charmed Stamp Set by Mama Elephant is like the sweetest thing EVER! They make me smile! In fact, I have at least one more card planned with this lovely set.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used I will have links for you at the end of the post!

So. I kept this one really simple. I stamped all of the images on a piece of Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock with Hero Arts Black Ink. I also stamp a small section of the Wreath on a small strip of Post-It Tape so I could mask off a small section to add the Branch.

Coloring them in with the Derwent Inktense Watercolor Pencils was easy peasy and I love how these colors pop when you add water to them. I also added a lil bit of Clear Wink of Stella in a few places. A little bit o' bling us always a good thing, I think.

I recently purchased the Wavy Scallop Stitches Border Dies by Simon Says Stamp. They are from the Splash of Color Release. What a FUN collection! If you haven't seen it, go check it out! The Dies are groovy because they have three sizes in the set. I couldn't decide which size I liked best, so I used all three. I went over the Middle one with the Fuchsia Inktense Pencil to match the Wreath.

I mounted the two Scalloped Strips and the Panel to a Neenah White Cardstock Base with some Fun Foam and left it at that. I really couldn't bring myself to add anymore to it. Yeah?

That's it for now peeps! thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy!

Until next time!
