Hey folks!
I am so excited about the July Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp! It's been sitting on my table for a couple of days and I've been hoping to get a chance to start using it. Well today was my day peeps! Woot!

For this card, I used a few of the stamps from the stamp set and stamped the Boat and "With Me" Sentiment in Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with Ranger Liquid Platinum on the Simon Says Stamp Ivory Cardstock that also came with the kit. I thought it would be groovy to use my Versamark Pen and add it to some of the open areas on the Sailboat Stamp and again, use Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder to fill it in. I used the same embossing powder and the Sail Away Stamp on a piece of Silhouette Vellum Paper. I cut them both out with Technique Tuesday Circle Dies.
I stamped two of the Clouds, in the stamp set, with Simon Says Stamp Surf Blue Ink on the matching cardstock and fussy cut them out.
I kept the embellishments simple. I used the May Arts Twine that is in the kit and I had some Stars that I had die cut using the stars from the Lawn Fawn Stitched Journaling Die Set. I had heat embossed a piece of plain cardstock with Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder before I die cut them. This is probably one of my favorite ways to make embellishments. Super easy and they will always match!
