Last Minute Christmas Cards feat. Waffle Flower

Hey folks!

In today's video I'm showing you how to make some Last Minute Christmas Cards. These work great if you're in a rush and the possibilities are endless! If you're like me and you NEVER have your Christmas act together, then read on!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click HERE to read my full disclosure policy.

You can watch the video on how I made my cards HERE. You can also click on the thumbnail link below.

Every year I start with good intentions. I will have all of my Christmas cards done at the very least by the end of November so I can have them mailed by the beginning of December. Bwahahaha! Yeah, right. Show of hands, who's with me?

That brings us to our cards today. Now, if you follow me, you'll know that I'm not really a "stamper". I love me some coloring. BUT, solid stamps in stamp sets, alway come in handy! For my cards today, I'm using the Waffle Flower A HOMEMADE CHRISTMAS Stamp set. It's so cute!

I have links for other stamps sets below that I think would also make super super last minute Christmas cards.

For all of my cards, I used Neenah SOLAR WHITE 80# Cardstock. Not one to pass up a rainbow, I used Waffle Flower Inks in:

You could totally use a stamp positioning tool, such as the MISTI STAMPING TOOL, however, I find (occasionally) that it can go so much quicker without it. My go to stamp block are the Lawn Fawn STAMP BLOCKS.

When stamping a panel such as this, I recommend that you work form the edges towards the center. You're more likely to get you spacing more even aaaand it give you a better visual as you stagger your images.

I talk about this in the VIDEO, but another thing to keeping in mins, is whatever ink you use to stamp the last image will be the most prominent for most inks. Of course it makes a difference how light or how dark they are, but also some ink brands will differ. Anywho, just keep that in mind while you stamp, because you may want to stamp your foreground (the ones in front) images last.

You could absolutely finish these off with some heat embossing! Hero Arts SILVER Embossing Powder would be groovy. Also, a clear sparkle embossing powder such as the Hero Arts CLEAR SPARKLE Embossing Powder. For that I would stamp once with the Waffle Flower LIKE A PRO Ink as I did, then stamp with VERSAMARK and heat emboss with you powder.

I kept my easy peasy and used the Sakura STARDUST Glitter Pen on the garland and stars then quickly went over them again with the Sakura CLEAR Glaze Pen and called it a day. Getting these bad boys out the door was the name of the game folks.

I mention in the VIDEO that I did 20 of these in about 45 minutes, they go together that quick.
I'm clearing out a good deal of my crafty stash folks. You can head over to THE PINK ENVELOPE STASH to see what I have for sale. I have have lots of stamp sets, die, cardstock and quite a few organization products up for sale. Your purchases go to the support of this blog so be sure to check it out folks.
