Background Stamping + Copic Coloring + Sneak Peak

Hey folks!

So, I'm back today to share a couple of cards that I actually meant for my daughter to color. She wanted to color in her first Card Panel so I stamped it, she decided what colors she wanted, then she asked if I would color it instead. She was afraid no one would like it so she didn't want to put herself out there. I've been hearing this from a lot of folks lately. That's for another day, I suppose, but that make me so sad...

So, she went back other Sketch Book and I colored her Card Panel.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

Okey dokey. I started by stamping the Images from the Hero Arts Oh Happy Day Stamp Set on Neenah White Cardstock. Since she was going to color them in with Copic's (see thumbnail links below), I used Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.

I stamped the entire Panel because the idea was to trim it down with my Fiskars Paper Trimmer and make more than one card.

I cut two strips of My Favorite Things Brushed Gold Cardstock (where has this been all of my life?) and two strips of Simon Says Stamp Kona Coffee Cardstock (my favorite dark brown cardstock EVER!). Then, I took one of the Brushed Gold Strips and used one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Border Dies on it. I left the other plain.

I also adhered Fun Foam to the back of both Panels to give them some dimension.

To finish these off, I added Clear Wink of Stella to areas on the Images and Heat Embossed a Sentiment fro the Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and Simon Says Stamp Gold Embossing Powder.

That's it!

Here's a sneak peak of the card I'll be sharing on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog on Monday. This is from the Memory Box Thoughtful Bunny Stamp Set. Sooo cute! The Butterfly Reflections Ink Shop just got in some Stamping Bella Stamp's so goes check those out peeps!

I hope you enjoyed my cards today! ALSO, I'm trying to work out the details on my first GIVEAWAY! I'm super duper excited about that! I hope to have that all worked out and up and running next week too!

Until next time!
