Hey folks!
I'm stopping in a with a pretty stinkin easy card today!
Before I get to that, I just want to take a moment a let you all know how much I appreciate you! I haven't been super consistent lately and I apologize. My family has had to be front and center (as it should be), but hopefully the dust settles soon and I can back to creating and sharing with you on a regular basis again.
Okey dokey, enough about that, lets talk about this card!
If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.
I gotta be honest peeps, the jury is still out for me on this one, but I'm sharing it anyway! Nobody hits it out of the park 100% of the time and somebody will like it...
I started by stamping the Wplus9 A New Day Stamp on a Ranger-Tim Holtz Distress Cardstock Panel with Simon Says Stamp Intense Black Ink.
I didn't do anything to fancy schmancy when I colored it in with Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Inks (see the thumbnail links below for color choices). I was just shooting for fairly bold colors, because I wanted him to stand out a little and called it a day.
Once my panel was dry, I used three of the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle Dies to make frames. I then took the Largest Frame and gave it a quick wash Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Broken China. Since this frame is so thin, I immediately dried it with my Hero Arts Heat Tool so minimize warping.
I mounted the Largest Frame and the Stamped Panel to a Neenah White Cardstock Card Base using Scotch Foam Mounting Tape.
To finish it off, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to a few areas and some Sequins from the Little Things Muted Metallics Shaker Mix by Lucy's Cards.
That's it! Easy peasy.
I'm also sharing these two cards on the Butterfly Reflection's Ink Blog today! Be sure to go check them out. Also, there's LOADS of new craftiness in the Butterfly Reflections Ink Shop!
Simon Says Stamp March 2016 Card Kit is called Favorite Peeps and it's soo adorable! I am over the moon for everything in it. This one is a must folks!
Last, but certainly not least, my Wplus9 Botanical Bunch Watercoloring Card (original post) was shared on The Daily Marker Blog (featured post) yesterday! I am truly honored. Not only do I think Kathy is off the hook, but what an amazing thing to be featured with soo many other talented folks!
I hope you enjoyed my card today!
Until next time!
