Inside The Envelope

About Me

I have the great pleasure of being a stay at home Mom of two girlies as well as Step-Mom of 2 boys. We are a full house when we get the rare chance for all of us to be together. Imagine, The Brady Bunch as an 80's hair band and that would come pretty close to describing my family. We currently have one fur baby named Ginger. True to feline nature, she wears the pants in the family, but occasionally let's us believe we are in control. We live in Montana and when I can be torn from the Mom Cave (a.k.a. my craft room) we spend loads of time outdoors. We LOVE riding our wave runners at the lake in the summer and riding our snowmobiles in the winter.

Silly, kindness and a mild case of the crazies are main ingredients in our home.

I am truly inspired by everything around me. I love blogging about my creations and I enjoy sharing what I make with the fabulous crafting community. My hope is, if I can share my same passion and pass along that inspiration, then I've been successful. I am not perfect in my craft, I'm just passionate. I have a lot to learn and I love that I belong to such a large and amazing community to share in my journey.

Why The Pink Envelope?

Pretty simple. Someone once told me that if you mail a package in a bright colored envelope, it's less likely to get lost in the mail. I had forgotten about that until I mailed a couple of cards and they BOTH got lost! Then I remembered! Hot pink is my favorite color, so it was a no brainer. Since then I mail ALL of my cards in hot pink envelopes and none of them have been lost. Also, my recipients know when they see that envelope in their mailbox, they've received a card from me.
