Copic Coloring With Gina K Grand Garden

Hey folks!

In today's video, I'm sharing the oh so gorgeous Grand Garden Stamp Set by Gina K. Every once in awhile I find a stamp set that I simply sit down and color with my Copic's with no real expectations how it will turn out. The Gina K Grand Garden Set is a great stamp set to play around with. It has loads of white space a large enough to fill up a card panel.

You can watch the video on how I made my cards HEREYou can also click the thumbnail link below.

I love, love, love a stamp set that not only offers lots of whitespace to color, but also takes up a great deal of space on the panel. It's makes for a great focal point and while I can do some masking if I like, I can keep it nice a simple and get to coloring.

The Gina K GRAND GARDEN is perfect for this! The petals on the flower have plenty of white space to color, the leaves are simple.

I sis use my MISTI Stamping Tool to speed things up a wee bit, plus I also wanted to make sure that if I needed to double stamp, I had the ability to do so. I also used Simon Says Stamp MASKING Paper and I stamped all of my images with Altenew PERMANENT Black Ink.

Altenew's PERFECTLY PERFECT and MAJESTIC BLOOMS would be excellent choices as well. I have a card linked down below if you'd like to see the card that inadvertently inspired today's card.

Concord & 9th PAINTED ROSE and Wplus9 BEAUTIFUL DAHLIA would be fab too!

I talk more about this in the VIDEO folks, but I had an idea on what colors I was going to color this, but the wonderful thing about Copic's are that they are transparent so I had room to bring more colors in to get the depth and dimension that I wanted.

If you're interested in the color that I used, I have them linked down below.

I love faux frames. There are so many possibilities with them. but at the end of the day, they're super easy. For today's card, I simply use a T-RULER and an EK Success WRITING Pen to draw it in.

My plan was to add a simple drop shadow to the flower and the faux frame, but I changed my plan. You can here more about that in the VIDEO.

No card of mine is complete without loads of glitter so I added some Nuvo AQUA Shimmer on the highlights of the flowers and leaves and finished the panel off with a Sakura BLACK Glaze Pen.

That's it!
