How To Make An Ice Cream Cone Bouquet - Wplus9 Guest Design

Hey folks!

In today's video I'm Guest Designing for Wplus9 and I'm going to show you how I made an Ice Cream Bouquet using some of the February 2018 release from Wplus9 as well as some previously released Builder Collection.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click HERE to read my full disclosure policy.

Wplus9 released some really cool dies this month. I share a couple of them in the video, but there are more! These dies are a part of The STITCHED DETAILS Die Collection. If you’re familiar with the PLUSH FRIEND'S PANDA Die, then you’ll love the PLUSH FRIENDS PUP Die. Talk about cute! You can make that lil cutie into a pig as well. Have a thing for cacti? The STUCK ON YOU Die Set is perfect! Valentine’s Day has come and gone, but you can still make adorable suckers with some Wplus9 Felt and the SUCKER FOR YOU Die Set. Do be sure to go check out the Wplus9 store for more folks!

Sewing is my first love. I’ve been sewing for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately, I had to give up any kind of hand sewing. However, I wanted to still be able to use some of the Stitched Details Dies, so I thought why not mix it up and do some stamping and stitching.

I didn’t want to do any masking, but I wanted detail and I really wanted to build a big bouquet to set inside my ice cream cone. Wplus9 has some of the best builder sets folks. The FREEHAND FLORAL Stamp Set is one of my faves, because it has such a light, feel to it and it’s so easy to line up! I love the is blue green, so I had to make a few in SEA BREEZE, OCEAN DRIVE and SIREN SONG Inks.

I also used the ROSE BUILDER and PETUNIA BUILDER Stamp Sets. Now I fussy cut almost all of the flowers I stamped. Which is totally fine, but I highly recommend getting the companion dies. Dies definitely save time!

I used Neenah SOLAR WHITE Cardstock for my entire card and I used my new favorite STAMP BLOCKS from Catherine Pooler Designs.

You could make this bouquet in any colors you wanted. I was going for more blues and pinks. For some of my flowers I used, LAKE HOUSE, BO PEEP and FALLING FOR BLUE. Also in this month’s release is the new V.I.PINK Dye Ink. It’s truly a great pink. There were two other inks release as well. QUEEN BEE, a fabulous yellow that really pops and LIME LIGHT. Lime Light is a brilliant lime green.

A card like this doesn’t need much to finish it off, so used the LOVE SHOWER LAYERS Die Set and cut one of the hearts and the word “Love” from My Favorite Things BRUSHED GOLD cardstock. Just a few GOLD Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish it up and I called it a day!

That’s it! Do be sure to watch the VIDEO folks. It’s such a fun process!
