In today's video I'm showing you how to use die cuts stencils to get some added use out of those dies and really help add those finishing touches to you card. It's an easy trick that has endless possibilities. Enjoy!

It's Fall, but I just had to get in that last summer card before I moved on to any serious holiday card making. The Altenew Totally Tropical and Parrot Paradise Stamps Set were just the ticket.
I stamped all of my images on Neenah Solar White Cardstock with Altenew Permanent Black Ink. This was the first time I used this ink and I love it! It's a nice, crisp, black ink folks and it worked beautifully with the Copic's
I used the MISTI Stamping Tool, but you could totally make this card with an acrylic block, no problem.
You could also do this card with watercolors or colored pencils, but I love the bold, brightness of Copic's. I have all of the colors I used in the thumbnail links below.
Be sure to check out the video to see how I used the Simon Says Stamp Postage Edge Die to make the faux frame. I love, love, love to use this technique. I think it's a great way to add more detail to your finished design and get more use out of dies.
I added a drop shadow around the images, but also inside the faux frame. No card is complete without the Spectrum Noir Clear Overlay Pen. I used that to add some shimmer to the highlights on the flowers. My Sakura Glaze Pens aren't too far out of my reach too! I talk about how I used those in the video as well.
I've been reaching for my Nuvo Crystal Drops quite a bit lilted. Today's card had Black Ebony and Ripened Pumpkin. The Ripened Pumpkin looks great on those yellow flowers!
I hope you enjoyed my card today and as always thanks so much for stopping by!
Until next time!
Ohhh so beautiful and just perfect for here with Spring full on and well I just love your flower cards. Thank you
