Winnie & Walter My Precious + Sneak Peak

Hey folks!

Stopping in a with couple more cards today! Gotta be honest peeps, I had no real idea where I was going with this, but I wanted to make a card. So that's that.

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

Okey dokey. I started by putting a panel of Ranger Distress Watercolor Cardstock in my MISTI Stamping Tool and laying out the Winnie & Walter My Precious Stamps where I wanted them. The great thing about using a MISTI is not only does it save time when stamping a bunch of Images, but in this case it saved my bacon-ish. More on that in a minute.

I stamped everything with Versafine Black Onyx Ink and heat embossed them with Simon Says Stamp Clear Embossing Powder. I also stamped the Sentiment on Simons Says Stamp Black Cardstock with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with Simon Says Stamp White Embossing Powder.

Clean and simple are my favorite cards to make, but sometimes I just don't know when to quit. Then I worry that I should have left well enough alone.

Any who, I still had the Ranger - Tim Holtz Distress Inks out that I used on THIS Card so I used them again. You can see the thumbnail links below for my color choices. I probably could have stopped there, but I decided to splatter each of the colors on the Panel as well.

I really should have stopped there, but I went ahead and added some Clear Wink of Stella to the Gems and Ranger Glossy Accents over the top of each. Then, I went for the gold, so to speak and Die Cut the Panel using a Simon Says Stamp Wavy Scallop Stitches Border Die as well as a strip of DCWV Gold Foil Cardstock.

So, by this point I wasn't feeling so great about the first card AND because I left my Stamps on my MISTI, I started another Panel, but this time I just colored everything in and called it a day.

I also chose to simply trim the Panel straight and clean with my Fiskars Paper Trimmer. I did however, add some Clear Wink of Stella to the Gems.

That's it! Easy peasy.

On Monday I will have this lil cutie on the Butterfly Reflections Ink Blog. In the meantime be sure to stop by there and see all of the other groovy creations my partners in crafty crime have to share. I hope you enjoyed my cards today!

Until next time!
