Elegant & Sophisticated Cards feat. Altenew Painted Rose for StampNation 2018 Birthday Card Stash

Hey folks!

In today's video I'm showing how to put together a set of elegant & sophisticated cards. These are for the StampNation Birthday Card Stash - DONE! challenge. I'm using the oh so lovely Altenew Painted Rose Stamp Set and doing some clean & simple stamp layering. I also have a link below where you can find the details about StampNation!

If you're interested in any of the products I've used, I have links (some affiliate links) throughout and at the end of the post. Click HERE to read my full disclosure policy.

Our topic for our Birthday Card Stash today is Elegant and Sophisticated. Right At Home shared a tutorial over on StampNation today, but I don't have any Right At Home Stamps (I know! I'm sorry!), but I did have this gorgeous Altenew PAINTED ROSE Stamp Set. I think Altenew, elegant and sophisticated are synonymous.

You can watch the video on how I made my cards HERE. You can also click on the thumbnail link below.

These were super easy to make folks! I talk more about this in the VIDEO, but you can easily make a set of these or just one.

I stamped all of the roses on Neenah SOLAR WHITE 80 lb. Cardstock. Since these are layering stamps, I used my MISTI STAMPING TOOL. You could use a stamp block if you'd like. I've been using the Catherine Pooler STAMP BLOCKS a ton lately. They are awesome. The curved edges on them are the best I've seen so far folks!

I used all Altenew Inks, but I made sure to keep them in each of their own collections that they were released in. This way, I knew all of my colors would look great together. I used the RED SUNSET Ink Set, SUMMER AFTERNOON, COOL SUMMER NIGHT and the SHADES OF PURPLE Ink Set. For the leaves, I used the GREEN FIELDS Ink Set.

I show how I do this in the VIDEO, but I love the look of embossing over stamp layering. On the roses I used Hero Arts CLEAR SPARKLE Embossing Powder. and the leaves, I used Altenew CLEAR Embossing Powder.

I wanted to add some die cut frames to all of my panels. You could totally add faux frames and draw them in with a Copic Multiliner, but I wanted the extra dimension on my panel so I used the My Favorite Things INSIDE & OUT STITCHED RECTANGLE Dies and cut some frames.

These cards don't need a lot of embellies so I kept it simple and added some PEARLS from Hero Arts.

That's it!

I hope you enjoyed my card today! As always it’s such a great pleasure to design for Wplus9. Dawn and Crew are the best! DISCOVER more projects on my Youtube Channel.
